Geography

Welcome to the Geography Department.  We are a small department within the humanities faculty.  We are caring staff who strive to ensure all students achieve their potential.  We work hard to make your lessons fun and relevant to today’s world. Our courses give students access to modern world issues at a range of scales, from local to global. We make use of modern resources e.g. web based and GIS (geographical information systems) and fieldwork resources such as our trips to the Peak District, the East Coast and further afield into Europe.

Staff:

Mrs W Phillips   Lead Teacher in Geography
Ms C Ord  Geography and Public Services Teacher
