Courses:
The department has a two year Key Stage 3 and a three year Key Stage 4.
In KS4, all groups are following the Edexcel GCSE Linear Specification (1MA0)
In Year 11, all students follow a semi-personalised timetable during their Mathematics lessons based on their Year 10 results. They can complete re-sits to allow them to improve their grade and maximize their chance of achieving their full potential. We enter pupils for exams in November, March and June based on their needs. We also offer after-school revision groups as well as Intervention sessions in the run up to each exam.
We also offer Edexcel GCSE Statistics. The course consists of an exam and a piece of controlled coursework.
Our 6th Form students follow the OCR MEI A Level course over two years. The course consists of four core modules (two completed per year) and two optional modules (one completed per year). Any students wanting to follow this course needs to have studied the GCSE Higher course and achieved at least a Grade B.
