Sustainability
The Academy believes strongly in sustainable development. This means inspiring every young person to improve their quality of life without storing up problems for the future, or impacting unfairly on other people’s lives. It is much more than recycling bottles or giving money to charity. It is about thinking and working in a profoundly different way.
In order to facilitate these beliefs the Academy is working towards the Eco-School Green Flag award. Students are also actively encouraged to get involved within the ‘Pledges’.
